How Many Attempts in NEET?

Right now, there are no parameters on the NEET entrance exam attempt limit for the students and they can freely appear multiple times as well in the exam. Here you need to understand the NEET age limit as well because it is also the part of eligibility criteria for the NEET exam. A candidate must complete 17 years of age at the time of admission to the college before 31 December to the first year of the UG course. NEET attempt limit for OBC/SC/ST is also the same just as the General category.

NEET Upper Age Limit –

While searching for the NEET attempt limit students are also confused regarding the NEET exam upper age limit for the UG paper. National Media Commission, clearly states on the upper age limit that there should be no upper age limit for the exam.

NEET 2024 Attempt Limit – After 2017, Rules Were Changed

It was the time of 2017 when CBSE introduced an upper age limit and a maximum number of attempts in the NEET exam. As per the previous notice by CBS, the upper age limit for the NEET was 30 years for the reserved category and 25 years for the unreserved category. The NEET attempt limit was also 3 as per the notice.

However, in 2019, NEET eligibility criteria clear that there is no upper age limit and NEET exam attempt limit for the students.

According to the rules and information of the National Testing Agency, which is the exam conducting body of NEET, there is no age limit or number of attempts limits for the NEET exam.
